Basilica Cistern is a must see location if you are travel to turkey or near to Sultan Ahmed Mosque, Sophia. The architecture is beautiful, and the way it is presented with the up-lighting make it spectacular. Amazing historical site built in the 6th century during the reign of Byzantine emperor Justinian. An underground chamber filled with columns partly submerged in water. This is a small exhibit but so worth of seeing and totally interesting. This is one of those places that you will never forget in your lifetime.

Goreme National Park

Goreme National Park is the must see and do in Goreme. This site is the located in the center of a quite big Christian community area, with different worshipping points and also space for common meals. Unfortunately people from the region, at the beginning of the 20th century, not agreeing with Christians’ beliefs threw stones at these wonderful mural paintings and so you can see only very little part of them. The church paintings are fascinating and are in really good condition considering the age. The keepers on site are all keen to give you information about the history.
